Over the years, generations of Patriots have reinforced the vision of legendary Head of School Samuel Osbourn and thoughtfully provided for the future of his beloved Academy in their estate plans.

Deferred gifts are wonderful testaments by individuals who have personalized the school’s mission and committed to provide a priceless educational opportunity for GA students for generations to come. These testamentary gifts are critical to the growth of the Academy’s endowment. Income from the endowment contributes significantly to help offset the costs associated with the entire curricular and extra-curricular program each year.

In addition, it relieves families who qualify for financial aid by providing tuition assistance. This critical funding provides support for middle-income families who just need that extra help to afford our special brand of educational experience as well as those families for whom, without more significant support funds, a GA education would not be possible.

Charitable support through deferred gifts also ensures that Germantown Academy’s landmark 126 acre campus, physical plant, playing fields, and nature preserve remain in excellent condition.
